Canton Club Group Fitness programs give you a complete workout in a fun and invigorating format.  We offer classes that combine cardiovascular training with strength training, core training, and flexibility. 

And, not only do you get to workout alongside friends, Canton Club has some of the best group fitness professionals and programs in the country!  We incorporate cutting edge techniques and methods to help you achieve your fitness goals!

With more than 40 classes per week, classes are geared for every fitness level and group fitness interest.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

AIR YOGA
A new type of Yoga that combines Yoga poses with movements done on a hammock-like apparatus. The low-hanging silk hammock is used to support the weight of the body. The student uses the hammock to perform traditional yoga poses. The training on the hammock complements the Yoga poses; shoulders are stabilized while being stretched, core abdominal muscles can be strengthened and spinal flexibility becomes comfortable to explore.

AMRAP
Challenge your fitnesss level with Canton Club's newest interval training group X class incorporating boxing, strength, plyometric and a variety of functional exercises. You will be given a specified amount of time to complete as many rounds as possible.

BARRE FUSION
A Pilates style class incorporating the ballet bar. Designed to lengthen major muscle groups, primarily the core muscles, as well as burn fat surrounding these muscles.

BOOT CAMP
A high intensity workout combining calisthenics, plyometrics, strengths training, and speed drills.  Not for beginners.

BUTTS, GUTS & CARDIO
A one of a kind hardcore class designed to sculpt your legs, strengthen your core and blast calories.

CARDIO FLEX
A high intensity strength/cardiovascular training combination class. 

FitWall CIRCUIT
Using the FitWall, a circuit is created combining high intensity cardio bursts and resistance training to target fat loss, muscle endurance, and cardiovascular fitness.

FLEX
Total body workout using all necessary training equipment to create lean muscle mass.

FUSION FLEX
45 minute overall body strength training workout incorporating multi-joint movements.

HARD CORE CUTS
Sculpt your core in 30 minutes using gliders and your body weight.

HEAVY BAGS
Intense workout combining kickboxing techniques on the bags and strength training on the Bosu balls. Gloves required.  All levels welcome.

HEAVY BAG BOOT CAMP
Punch, kick, jump, and climb your way to a fitter you!  Gloves required. Not for beginners.

MOMMY DADDY AND ME YOGALATES
An oppurtunity for parents to get a workout alongisde their infant/toddler. The class is very similar to the standard yogalates class except children 6weeks - 2 years are welcome.

PILATES
Focused workout for the core which teaches you how to stabilize, lengthen, tone and move from this "powerhouse" of the body.

POWER FLEX
Just like Flex with heavier weights and less reps.  You will not bulk up, just tone up!

POWER YOGA
Faster paced, physically challenging Yoga workout which improves strength and invites students to try difficult postures and balances.

POWERBALL PILATES
Up the anti of traditional matwork Pilates with a handheld power ball to maximize effectiveness.

PURE STRENGTH
"Transform Your Physique"
Canton Club’s exclusive group strength training focuses on heavy weights and less reps. Take it to the next level with Patrick Furlow as he leads you through a series of power moves, designed to increase strength and stamina while improving muscle definition.

STEP, PUMP & JUMP
A moderately intense interval style workout combining step routines, weights, and plyometric drills.

STROKE CLINIC
Get leaner by the lap with this great cardiovascular workout while refining and perfecting your swimming skills. 

TRAINING CAMP
Whether you are training for MudChasers 2011, (mudchasers.com) or a similar event this class is for you. The class is designed to prepare you for any obstacle course challenge. Even if you are not training for an event, the class is a great calorie burner! (Not recommended for beginners)

TRX
Using the TRX Suspension training system, the trainer will lead you through a series of exercises. The exercises are designed to develop your strength, balance, flexibility, and core simaltaneously using your own body weight and gravity.

X-Fit
"Train Like an Athlete, Feel Like an Athlete"
X-Fit is designed to bring out the athlete in you. Trainer Matt Christ will rotate you through series of stations using weighted medicine balls, battle ropes, the agility ladder, and punching bags. In this “crossfit” like class, you will improve your speed, agility, and power.

YOGALATES
The best of yoga and pilates!

ZUMBA
Tone and sculpt you body through high energy easy to follow dance moves.
